Mazen Omar

Independent real estate consultant — Dubai

I arrived in Dubai when the towers of Business Bay were still drawings on hoardings. I watched the city grow district by district — and I learned, sometimes the hard way, what separates a great property decision from an expensive lesson.

For more than fifteen years I have advised families buying their first home, professionals relocating to the UAE, and investors building portfolios from London, Riyadh, Mumbai and beyond. I have sat on both sides of the table: with developers at launch events, and with buyers reading the fine print of those same launches.

That experience shaped a simple conviction: the Dubai market rewards people who do their homework, and punishes people who buy the brochure. My job is to do that homework with you — honestly, with numbers, and with no pressure to transact.

Why independent advice matters

Most property advice in Dubai is paid for by the seller. There is nothing wrong with that — but it means the advice tends to end with "buy". An independent consultant is free to say "not this one", "not yet", or "negotiate harder". Those three sentences have saved my clients more money than any deal I ever closed.

Whether you are buying a home, placing capital, or planning residency through property, you deserve a clear-eyed view of the market before you commit. That is what I provide.

The market rewards people who do their homework — my job is to do it with you.

How I work

Transparency

Every recommendation comes with the reasoning and the numbers behind it. If a deal has a weakness, you hear it from me first.

Data over hype

Launch-day excitement is not a strategy. Decisions are built on transaction data, rental yields and developer track records.

Long-term partnership

The handover is the beginning, not the end. Clients stay for years because the advice keeps paying for itself.
